PREPARATION OF JASMINE RICE IN THE COOKING POT WITH TIPS FROM THAIS
1. Put the Jasmin rice in a cooking pot or saucepan.
2. Wash rice twice and then drain with your hand.
3. Add 1.5 times of the amount of water.

4. Leave the rice to soak for 10 minutes. Turn the cooker/ stove on to the highest heat setting.
5. As soon as the water boils, turn the cooker to medium heat and let the rice simmer for 23 minutes with the lid closed until water has evaporated. In between, do not touch the pot and do not open the lid.
6. After 23 minutes, turn off the heat BUT do not remove the lid yet! You should let the pot rest with the lid closed for another 10 minutes.
7. Then you can remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
Done! Now your rice is ready to eat!

1. Put Jasmine rice in the rice cooker.
2. Remove the inner pot of the rice cooker and wash the rice twice.
3. Add 1.5 times of the amount of water.
4. Close the lid and switch on the rice cooker.
5. Once the light has turned, the rice is ready.
